Immer wieder werde ich gefragt, warum ich denn „Isa in the middle“ resp. mein Blog auch noch „Yisha in the middle“ heisst. Nun hier eine kleine Reise zurück in die Vergangenheit. Ich habe einen Blog gestartet über mein Auslandsemester in Peking im Jahre 2015. Der Blog diente auch als Praktischer Teil an der HWZ (Hochschule für Wirtschaft) in meinem Kommunikationsstudiengang. Der Name dieses Blogs ist isainthemiddle (https://isainthemiddle.wordpress.com/). Die Idee dahinter: Ich befand mich im Land der Mitte – also in the middle. Da dieser Name somit schon verwendet wurde, habe ich einfach meinen Chinesischen Namen Yisha verwendet und so wurde mein Blog über meine anfänglichen Reiseabenteuer und nun Safari Blog zu Yisha in the middle.
„In the middle“ wurde jedoch für mich immer mehr zur Identifikation, da ich merkte, dass ich mich eigentlich immer Mitten von Projekten, dem Leben, China oder eben dem Busch befand. Jedes Mal, wenn ich wieder ins Leben oder ein Abenteuer springe, befinde ich mich in der Mitte von so vielem. Darum geht es mir nicht darum, dass ich der Mittelpunkt bin, sondern, dass ich jeweils in der Mitte von allem Pulsieren und Vibrieren sein darf. Diese Erlebnisse versuche ich dann mit euch zu teilen. Und manchmal ist es dann doch meine Mitte, die ich in all dem Trubel finden darf. So freue ich mich immer wieder, wenn ich als „Isa in the middle“ live berichten darf...

I get asked often why my blog is called "Isa in the middle" or "Yisha in the middle”.
Now here a little trip back to the past. In 2015, I started a blog about my semester abroad in Beijing 5. The blog also served as a practical part of the HWZ (University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration) in my communication studies. The name of this blog is isainthemiddle (https://isainthemiddle.wordpress.com/). The idea behind it was : I was in the country of the middle - also in the middle. Since this name was already used, I simply used my Chinese name Yisha and so my blog about my initial travel adventures after that and now Safari Blog became Yisha in the middle.
But "In the middle" became more and more part of my identity, because I realized that I was always in the middle of projects, life, China or the bush. Every time I jump into an adventure or life again, I find myself in the middle of so much. It is not that I am at the center, but that I can be in the middle of everything pulsating and vibrating around me. So, I try to share these experiences with you. And sometimes it is then nevertheless my center, which I might find in all the hustle and bustle. So I am always happy when I can report on my life as "Isa in the middle"...
